Albert Epplin

	Albert M. Epplin, age 81, of Pinckneyville, died Tuesday, October 19, 2004 at 6:00 p.m. in his residence.
	Albert was born on August 5, 1923, a son to Joseph S. and Emma Katherine (Endres) Epplin in Pinckneyville. He married Florence Ina Baudison on July 21, 1951 in Todds Mill and she preceded him in death on August 19, 1964. He was a farmer, dairyman and gardener, a member of St. Bruno Catholic Church, a charter member of the Knights of Columbus #2921 in Pinckneyville and a member of the Perry County Farm Bureau.
	Survivors include two sons: Stephen J. Epplin and Sylvester J. Epplin, both of Pinckneyville; three daughters: Mariann Timmermann and husband Dale of Vandalia, Catherine Santos and husband Tom of Port Isabel, Tex., and Caroline Giger and husband David of Highland; two brothers: Clarence Epplin and wife Celeste of Florisant, Mo., and Joe Epplin and wife Mildred of Pinckneyville; two sisters-in-law: Ida Epplin of Missouri and Marge Epplin of Vergennes; a friend of the family: Florence Alstat and four grandchildren: Ben, Mark and Jenny Timmermann and Lena Giger.
	He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; two infant sons: Louis John Epplin and Bernard Joseph Epplin; three brothers: Carl Epplin, Edward Epplin and Clement Epplin and one sister: Agnes Bruns.
	Funeral services were held on Friday, October 22, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Bruno Catholic Church with Father Brian Barker officiating. Interment was in the St. Bruno Cemetery.
	Friends called at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home in Pinckneyville on Thursday, October 21, 2004 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and again on Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. The rosary was said at 9:00 a.m.
	Memorials may be made to St. Bruno School Endowment Fund or American Cancer Society.
